Sticky Post Slider

The slider function is switched on in the theme options and is only visible on the Blog posts page. The intention of the slider is to bring older content to the front page however it can be used to display latest news, meet changes/updates, weather updates etc In this example I have inserted a video clip (MP4 video) above and selected ‘Video’ as a format option on the on the right of the ‘Edit post’ page. If you wish to add a standard post you would select ‘Standard’ as the format type on the ‘Edit Post’ page.

To add an image use the ‘add feature image’ button on the ‘Edit post’ page. To make a post ‘sticky’ tick the box on the ‘edit post’ page under publish/visibility “stick this post to the front page” then select ‘ok’ and update the page. The slider will display the most recent post 1st. This feature can be turned off in the ‘theme options’ page.
