Conditions of Booking
1) To book a place on either a weekend or May week you should contact the club member who has organised the weekend / May Week.
2) For May Week and The Burns’ Supper a deposit of £20 is required to secure a place.
Please inform Anne Sinclair (annebsinclair@outlook.com) who will confirm availability and Pay by cheque made out to SMHC or by bank transfer – Sort Code 80-09-68, Account No. 00830247.
If you can inform the club treasurer of payment. (treasurer.thesmhc@gmail.com)
Payment should be made in full one month before both events to allow the organiser to enjoy her weekend free from security concerns regarding the cash collected.
3) The Weekend Meets are now organised by several different people. In most instances 6 places will be booked initially. To ensure your place please contact the person who is organising the weekend and arrange payment to that person. Your place will be confirmed once payment is made. Payment will be the full price of the weekend. If the 6 places are booked you will be informed by the organiser if they are able to book more places under the club name or if you should contact the venue yourself. The organiser and payment details will be on the booking form for that weekend. Please note the 6 places generally go very quickly and the earlier we know if extra spaces will be required the more likely we will be able to book extra places at that venue.
4) Should you wish to cancel any event you have booked, you must do so as soon as possible with the Meets Organiser to reduce the potential loss to yourself. It might be possible to cancel your place at the venue or offer it to someone if there is a waiting list. Payment is required in full one month before the date, if cancelling after this it will be at the discretion of the venue what payment you will receive back.
