Located within a two minute walk of the historic loch-side town of Inveraray the hostel provides simple comfortable rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, communal dining area, shared bathrooms and a heated drying room. There is also secure bike storage. Towels and bedding are provided and there is free WiFi in all rooms.

Within a short drive from the hostel are a good selection of Munros and Corbetts in the Ben Cruachan group, the Ben Lui range and of course the Arrochar Alps, also in the area is the solitary Munro Beinn Bhuide.
