Park at Inverey NO089893
Distance from Stonehaven to start 60 miles (approx. 1hr 30min)
Starting at Inverey walk 5 kms south up Glen Eye to the bridge at Grid Ref. NO101849 and cross to the east bank of the river, continue 3 kms south up the steep ridge of Creag an Fhuathais to 855m point.
Carry on SW to point 938m on the An Socach ridge. Continue along the ridge to the An Socach Munro 944m at Grid Ref NO079799.
Return down north ridge to the bridge at NO 075818 (not marked on OS maps). The bridge at Altanour Lodge may have been demolished by floods a few years ago.
Continue down the track back to the car park.
