The car park in Invervar is now closed and the road for 1km either side of the village has been designated a Clearway; stopping only allowed in an emergency. The nearest parking is now in a lay-by on the south side of the road 1km west of the village.<br>Because our walk is planned for a Sunday when there are likely to be other walkers using the car park we may wish to consider an earlier start and obviously keep the number of vehicles to a minimum. Proceed northeast to the summit of Meall Garbh, circle round to the\u00a0 top of Carn Mairg, at 1042m the highest point on the circuit. Follow an indistinct path southeast then south to the bealach, from there the path climbs south to the Meall na Aighean summit ridge.
