Airlie Tower to Glen Clova Hotel<\/p>\n\n\n\n
OS Landranger Map: Sheet 44 Ballater and Glen Clova Detailed planning of vehicle requirements etc. will be done using Spond nearer the time of the walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Start Point is the car park just beyond the Scott-Wilson Monument in Glen Prosen where all vehicles will initially meet, walkers will be deposited to await return of drivers, all cars will head to the Glen Clova Hotel where they will be parked with the exception of one car which will take the drivers back to the Start Point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n From the Scott-Wilson Monument we take the path up to the Airlie Tower. From the Tower follow the ridge northwards to the Hill of Counternach, and on to Cairn Leith, continue along the ridge to Cairn of Barns and from there down to the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Walkers will return to Stonehaven with one car diverting via the Monument to collect the remaining car.
