A variety of routes, of differing levels of difficulty, are available depending on capability and wishes of the group. Members are encouraged to research their own routes and we only ask that details are left with other members out walking if you intend to break away from any organised walk.\u00a0<\/p>\n Prospective members can attend a day walk or weekend event without first paying for membership. Costs is kept to a minimum by car sharing. Bus transport is occasionally organised to walking areas where there are sufficient numbers. For this reason, members should ensure that they confirm attendance with the Outdoor Secretary by the Monday prior to an outing. Bikes are an option for quicker access to certain hills.<\/p>\n Weekend Meets<\/strong><\/p>\n The Club organises a number of weekend meets, normally staying in Club Huts or Bunkhouses. \u00a0Members are encouraged to plan and suggest routes, preparing information on destination, costs, dates, your contact details for members interested in attending, along with payment details.\u00a0<\/p>\n For weekend meets, pre-payment is required in full. Information as above can be sent to Anne who will post on Spond, Whatsapp group chat to gauge interest. We encourage organisers to keep track of those club members who wish to attend so we can accommodate all who wish to book a place.\u00a0<\/p>\n Tuesday night slide shows during the winter months, from 7.30pm<\/strong> at Number 44 Hotel & Bar Stonehaven. We will post details of arranged speakers to all members via facebook, whatsapp, Spond or on here. Non members welcome<\/strong>, \u00a32 donation, all proceeds go towards club awards and events.
